Therapy

Family Therapy focuses on dealing with stressors and relational struggles within the family system.  Stressors may be caused by family dynamic changes such as divorce, a child leaving the home, role changes and even death.

Family therapy may be the entire family or those who are willing to participate.  Family members may be seen individually or even referred to another therapist for individual therapy if deemed necessary.

Family therapy challenges each member of the family to identify areas of needed change.  Families often work on improving communication skills, setting healthy boundaries and identifying priorities.
